Zum Abend eine nur schwer verdauliche Nachricht, nachdem wir heute einen wirklich tollen Tag auf dem BlackBerry 10 Jam erlebt haben. In den heute veröffentlichten Finanzergebnissen „versteckt“ sich eine Nachricht, die für uns Hardcore Fans nur schwer zu schlucken ist. Auch wenn von unserer Seite eigentlich nicht anderes erwartet (wir haben insgeheim die „nativ email within 60 business days“ Formel angewendet), verschiebt sich das Release der ersten BlackBerry 10 Geräte auf das erste Quartal 2013!

Over the past several weeks, RIM’s software development teams have made major progress in the development of key features for the BlackBerry 10 platform; however, the integration of these features and the associated large volume of code into the platform has proven to be more time consuming than anticipated. As a result, the Company now expects to launch the first BlackBerry 10 smartphones in market in Q1 of calendar 2013.
