Vor einigen Monaten in der Betaphase gestartet, wurden die BlackBerry Business Cloud Dienste für Office 365 heute offiziell freigegeben und sind ab sofort in über 50 Ländern weltweit verfügbar. Dieser Dienst erlaubt es Organisationen, die auf die neue Office-Cloud Lösung von Microsoft setzen, ihre BlackBerry Smartphones in diese Lösung zu integrieren.

Features der BlackBerry Business Cloud Dienste für Office 365:

Drahtlose Synchronisation mit Microsoft Exchange Online E-Mail, Kalender und anderen Organizer Daten auf das BlackBerry Smartphone.
BlackBerry Balance Technologie um gezielt berufliche und private Inhalte sicher zu speichern und voneinander zu trennen.
Weboberfläche für IT-Administratoren um eingebundene Geräte sicher zu verwalten.
Online Zugriff zu einem Self-service Portal für alle Mitarbeiter, um das eigene Gerät im Falle eines Verlustes selbstständig zu sperren oder zu löschen.

Waterloo, ON – Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM) today announced general availability of BlackBerry® Business Cloud Services for Microsoft Office 365 – a new service for business and government organizations that extends Microsoft Exchange Online to BlackBerry® smartphones and allows customers to manage their BlackBerry deployments in the cloud. The service is available at no additional charge to current medium-sized or enterprise subscribers of the Office 365 suite or standalone Exchange Online and works with BlackBerry smartphones on business or consumer data plans.
