Nur wenige Tage vor dem Start von BlackBerry 10 veröffentlicht RIM eine neue Version des BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 (BES 10). Der neue BES vereint die Funktionen von Device Management, Sicherheit und Mobile Application Management für BlackBerry Smartphones, PlayBook Tablets und BlackBerry 10 Smartphones. Außerdem gibt es nun eine einheitliche Konsole um BlackBerry, Android und iOS Geräte zu verwalten. BES 10 ermöglicht Unternehmen die sichere Verwaltung verschiedenster mobiler Endgeräte. Dabei werden Unternehmenseigene, als auch private Geräte in den Zeiten von BYOD unterstützt. Besonders interessant ist ebenfalls der Support der neuen BlackBerry Balance Technologie, welche mit BlackBerry 10 noch einmal weiterentwickelt wurde. So wird es möglich ein Gerät ohne Probleme geschäftlich und auch privat zu nutzen ohne dabei Unternehmensrelevante Daten zu gefährden oder mit privaten zu vermischen. Schön das es den BES10 jetzt gibt, nur suche ich immer noch die Integration für meine Mail-Server (Exchange bzw. GroupWise). Bin ich zu blöd oder gibt es die Connectoren noch nicht?
Was genau meinst du mit „Integration“? Natürlich kann der BES mit Exchange, bei GroupWise bin ich mir spontan nicht sicher.
Ja klar meine BES5 Systeme haben ja auch einen E-Mail Connector, nur bei der Test-Version BES10 finde ich den nicht …
Da kann ich dir ehrlich gesagt nicht so richtig weiter helfen. Wollte mir das ganze am Wochenende mal anschauen, hab aber ansonsten damit keine Erfahrung. Bin mir aber sicher das es geht. Sorry das ich da nicht weiterhelfen kann.
Die Integration der Mail-Systeme läuft wohl mit BES 10 ausschließlich über die Microsoft ActiveSync Schnittstelle …
Ich habe mir den BES10 nicht genau angesehen, aber es wird nichts anderes sein als ein BES5 mit UDS und BDS zusammen. Das Problem dabei – z.Z. können BES5 und UDS/BDS nicht auf einem Server installiert werden. Bei der Installation wird er mit Sicherheit fragen was installiert werden soll. Erst im Mai soll es ein System geben welches es ermöglichen soll alles auf einem Server zu installierten.
Die neuen OS10 System wie auch die aktuellen Playbooks werden nur noch per ActiveSync verbunden. Du gibst also in der BDS Komponenten ein wie das Gerät deinen Exchange erreicht. Hier kannst du aber auch die interne IP Adresse oder den internen Namen deines Exchange angeben. Dieser muss NICHT aus dem Internet erreichbar sein!!! Die Aktivierung erfolgt wie beim alten System mit der Email Adresse und dem Aktivierungspasswort. WIchtig ist hier auch noch die ServerID. Diese fängt mit S gefolgt von einigen Zahlen. Nach der Aktivierung wird dein Gerät einen Verbindung über RIM zu deinem BES10 aufbauen, Dies kann er, weil dein BES10 über den üblichen Port einen Verbindung zu RIM hat. Über diesen Weg erreicht er alle internen Ressourcen. Aus diesem Grund erreicht dein Gerät auch den Exchange über seine Interne private Adresse. Die Verbindung ist verschlüsselt und tunnelt alles was in Richtung Firma geht. Du wirst dann auch einen neuen Browser bekommen – zumindest ist das beim Playbook so.
